Concrete Removal & Disposal

We break it, load it, haul it — and leave you a clean site.

Got an old concrete slab, a cracked walkway or a patio you want gone? Our concrete removal service is the full package: we cut, break, load and dispose of the concrete at licensed sites. No pile of rubble sitting in your yard for three weeks — when we leave, it's clean. We work all over Ottawa-Gatineau, for homeowners and contractors.

What we remove

What's included

It's a turnkey service. No need to rent a bin or deal with a disposal site yourself.

If the concrete coming out is part of a bigger concrete or rock demolition project, we can bundle everything into one quote.

Why not do it yourself?

Concrete is heavy — roughly 150 lb per cubic foot. A small 10 ft × 10 ft slab is already over two tonnes to break, lift and haul. A rented bin costs real money, sits in front of your house for a week, and many sites won't take concrete mixed with other debris. And a rental jackhammer against a 6-inch reinforced slab is a full weekend of misery. We do this every day with the right equipment: what would take you three days takes us a few hours, and clean concrete goes to recycling instead of the landfill. Tough access — backyards, slopes, no machine entry — we've seen it before and we adapt with handheld gear.

A real job site: garage floor in Gatineau

A classic fall job: a garage floor in Gatineau cracked end to end, with rock pushing up underneath. We saw-cut the slab into sections, broke and loaded it all — roughly 25 yards of concrete — and exposed the rock so the owner could see exactly what he was dealing with. Clean site by end of day, ready for excavation.

Where does the concrete go?

Everything we haul goes to licensed disposal and recycling sites in the Ottawa-Gatineau area. Clean concrete — no rebar tangles, no mixed garbage — is crushed and reused as aggregate for road base and new construction, which keeps tipping fees down and keeps material out of the landfill. When the load is mixed, we separate what we can on site. You get the weight tickets if you need them for your records or your client.

From $500

Pricing depends on slab area and thickness, whether it's reinforced, site access (a backyard with no machine access changes the picture) and hauling volume. A walkway or small slab often runs $500 to $1,500; a full garage floor, more. Free on-site quote.

Frequently asked questions

Does the price include hauling and disposal?

Yes. The price covers breaking, loading, hauling and disposal at an authorized site. Nothing stays behind.

Can you remove reinforced concrete?

Yes. Reinforced concrete takes longer because the steel has to be cut, but the equipment is the same. We factor it into the quote.

Do you need machine access?

It helps a lot, but it is not always required. In a narrow back yard we work with smaller equipment and carry the concrete out by hand — slower, so more expensive, but doable.

Do you remove old structure footings too?

Yes: shed and cabin pads, hot tub bases, deck footings, old retaining walls. Tell us what is there and we will price it.
